Reese set to join Division II Emporia State
ICC Sophomore guard Allison Reese has committed to play for Emporia State University, an NCAA Division II in Emporia, Kan. Reese came to Indy this past fall after attending Paris JC her freshman year in which she averaged 10.7ppg, 4.1rpg, and 2.1apg. This past season at ICC, Reese appeared in 18 contests averaging 13.8ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.7apg.

Coach Price had this to say about Reese, "A5 took a chance on us this past fall and will be a player who we look back on as the standard for those who step on the floor at ICC. She leaves a big mark, and we are grateful for her taking a chance on our program. We wish her luck on her journey and can't wait to see the places this great game takes her."

Reese commits to coach MJ Baker who is taking over the Lady Hornet's program after an 8-year stint at NJCAA powerhouse Eastern Florida College in Melbourne, FL.

Coach Baker had this to say about Allison: " We're thrilled to welcome Allison, aka A5 to Emporia State Women's Basketball. She's a dynamic guard who can score at all three levels and brings relentless defensive mindset. A5 plays with grit, intensity, and toughness that goes beyond her size. She's a competitor who will elevate our backcourt, and I'm stoked to coach a player with her drive and edge. We're also grateful for the opportunity to carry the torch from Independence to Emporia. We are honored to be a part of A5's journey."

Emporia State competes in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, and is coming off of a 10-19 season.
